A decade of anchoring excellence

Over the past 10 years, SubseaDesign has built solid experience in the fabrication of gravity-based anchors and suction anchors for subsea installations.

We have delivered a total of 33 clump weights, most of them weighing around 100 tonnes and with footprints of up to approximately 9 × 8 meters. These are robust structures designed for demanding offshore operations.

During the same period, we have fabricated 44 suction anchors, with typical dimensions of approximately 4 meters in diameter and lengths ranging from 8 to 12 meters. Our suction anchors are based on a proven standard design that can easily be adapted to meet different client requirements and applications.

A key part of the solution is our in-house designed hatches, which have been successfully used throughout this 10-year track record. This ensures predictable installation, high quality, and reliable performance.

While we operate with standardized designs as a foundation, flexibility is one of our core strengths. We tailor dimensions, design details, and technical solutions to suit specific load cases, seabed conditions, and client preferences.

Another important advantage is our fast turnaround time. With in-house geotechnical competence, we can perform the required soil calculations internally, allowing us to progress designs quickly without relying on external parties. This enables faster engineering cycles and more efficient project execution.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss an upcoming project or learn more about our subsea anchoring solutions.
