Vibration testing & beyond: developing the quick disconnect coupling

Following the previous post introducing the GBM Vibrojet® project, we continue by taking a closer look at the development and testing of the Quick Disconnect Coupling.

In spring 2025, our team successfully completed the prototype testing phase, including tests of release mechanisms, bending and pressure test. The FAT also included vibration testing, as shown in the video below, clearly demonstrating that the assembled coupling withstood the required vibration.

The project benefited from effective communication, a strong pre-engineering phase, solution-oriented suppliers, timely client feedback, and on-time delivery in accordance with the agreement.
