SubseaDesign & GBM Works: Advancing Offshore Wind with Vibrojet

SubseaDesign is pleased to share that the installation of monopiles for the Hollandse Kust West wind farm project has now been successfully completed using the innovative Vibrojet® method developed by GBM Works.

Vibrojet® enables the silent installation of large monopiles by fluidising the soil inside the pile, reducing friction and allowing installation with a vibratory hammer instead of a traditional impact hammer.

SubseaDesign delivered the Quick Disconnect Couplings (QDCs) used to connect and disconnect the feeder hose system during installation.
The SubseaDesign team is proud to have supported this important pilot and would like to thank GBM Works, Ecowende, and all our suppliers for the collaboration.
