Delivering SeAlign flange solutions for a major north sea operator

Another exciting milestone was achieved last year when SubseaDesign secured a contract for the delivery of 12” and 14” SeAlign misalignment flanges for a major operator in the North Sea.

The project includes a significant number of diver flanges, blind flanges, seals, bolt sets, low-pressure caps and flooding cap.

The SeAlign diver-operated flanges will be used for tie-in operations to connect two new templates to an existing subsea infrastructure. The delivery scope includes design and engineering, procurement, fabrication, and testing. The SeAlign flanges are designed to provide a leak-tight connection while accommodating misalignment of up to ±3 degrees and significantly reducing bending moment loads and simplifying the tie-in operation.
