BOP Tethering System project marks key milestones in Indonesia

As we closed out 2025, Subsea Design took another important step in our international expansion through the BOP Tethering System project, to be delivered in close collaboration with our local yard partner VME PROCESS BATAM in Indonesia.

The year ended with key milestones achieved: material received and inspected, first steel cutting completed, and the first batch of welders qualified and approved—ensuring a smooth transition into production in early 2026. Projects like this reflect Subsea Design’s strategy of combining Norwegian engineering expertise with trusted international partners, enabling efficient execution, local presence, and growth in global markets.
